Build

The Larkin desk top is solid American black walnut, kiln-dried to 8% moisture content and finished with a hard-wax oil. Tops are made to order in a small workshop in Boone, North Carolina, with a stated lead time of 14 to 18 business days from order confirmation.

Top sizes are 48 × 28 inches, 60 × 30 inches, and 72 × 30 inches. All sizes ship with a dual-motor steel base that travels from 24.5 to 50 inches in height at 1.5 inches per second. The base is rated to a 270-pound load including the top.

Controls

The included controller has four memory presets and a USB-A pass-through port that supplies up to 1A for charging accessories. A child-lock toggle is held by a 3-second long press. The desk does not ship with a Bluetooth module; the Bluetooth add-on is a $49 option.
